About Ms. Melanie

Ms. Melanie has truly been dancing since she took her first step. By age 11 she had put together her first dance group for her brother's Little League Football team. Since then, she has performed on, taught, choreographed for and coached teams from Mexico to Costa Rica, from New York to Florida and Utah to Texas. She was Senior Captain of Nationally recognized High School Dance team, the Eastwood Trooperettes. She then went on to BYU to receive her degree. While she was there, she started a performing Hip Hop Dance group called Club Style. She also taught and choreographed for the most highly decorated studio in Utah, bringing in many awards for them. She was a member of the "Wasatch Fever", the official dance team of a Minor League Football Team- the "Wasatch Wildcats". She choreographed and performed for a professional basketball team in Mexico at that time and then moved to Costa Rica where she had the privelege of dancing with an awesome hip hop group and teaching at a local studio. She's been trained by great choreographers all over the country (like Shane Sparks- featured on So You Think You Can Dance and America's Best Dance Crew and Peggy Larson- owner of National Champions Stars Cheer and Tumbling). She has since settled in Queen Creek and is excited to share her talent and love of dance with all of her new students!
